An American-Palestinian teenager who spent 270 days in imprisonment by Israel without being charged has been freed.
Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old at the time of his arrest this past winter in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, while he was vacationing while residing in Florida for allegedly throwing stones against settlement residents, claims he consistently denied.
United States authorities expressed satisfaction with the news of Mohammed's release.
Currently aged sixteen, required hospitalization right after being freed, according to close relatives.
Family described him as showing signs of malnutrition, and is suffering from conditions acquired while detained.
Via family representatives, Mohammed's uncle spoke of the family's "overwhelming sense of relief".
Family member Zeyad Kadur described how relatives endured "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" over the last nine months.
"At this moment, we're concentrating on providing Mohammed with prompt healthcare he needs following exposure to harsh conditions and brutal treatment throughout his detention."
American authorities stated they would maintain to provide consular support to the teenager's relatives.
{"The Trump Administration considers paramount to ensuring the safety of American nationals"," officials stated.
Twenty-seven US lawmakers endorsed a document to US authorities and the White House, urging greater action for his freedom.
Mohammed's parent, a father-of-four operating an ice cream shop from Florida, previously claimed his child admitted guilt about rock throwing because the soldiers beat him.
He had not seen or spoken to Mohammed since February, learning information solely regarding the treatment through judicial records.
Mohammed was held lacking indictment at Ofer detention facility on the West Bank.
It is also home to grown detainees, some of whom have been convicted of serious terrorism offences and murder.
An estimated several hundred young Palestinian detainees being held in Israeli jails, based on prison authority data.
Many have never been charged while advocacy organizations, as well as the United Nations, document cases involving mistreatment and torture.
Following Mohammed's release, the uncle stated relatives would persist in advocating for justice for his cousin family member Sayfollah.
The dual national youth per medical officials was beaten to death by radical settlers during a confrontation in July.

Mohammed and Sayfollah were employed together in the family ice cream shop based in Florida.
No one has been charged regarding Sayfollah's death.
"We demand United States leadership to ensure our family's safety," Mr Kadur said.
