A plane ferrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the aircraft's cockpit window, as stated by an announcement which verified that the secretary was unharmed.

"The aircraft touched down following established safety measures and all individuals on the flight, such as Pete Hegseth, is safe," an official representative stated in a social media post.

This occurrence does not mark the first occasion that a United States armed forces jet ferrying a high-ranking official has suffered technical problems.

Earlier this year, a American military jet transporting Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was required to return to Washington after suffering a mechanical fault.
